Happy days in the Grow Collective!

Leggo My Ego’ has become an official design in the CSS Zen Garden! Imagine the Borg starting to tap dance and crack jokes and that’s pretty much how I feel. Reading the notification email from Dave Shea was about the best news of the day. Cheers Dave!

For those of you who do not know, the CSS Zen Garden started by Dave Shea is part of the vanguard of the XHTML, CSS and accessible design movement. Web Standards based design is now the only way to design web sites that make any sense for designers or our clients. In part that's thanks to the work of the CSS Zen Garden and those who run it as a labour of love.

The Zen Garden was started as a showcase for graphic designers working on the web to demonstrate the power of CSS based design. It’s an honour and a privilege to have my pixels accepted amongst what many consider to be some of the most talented web designers in the world.

If you'd like to know more, the full story behind the Leggo My Ego design was posted previously.

More Web Standards Based Design Goodness

I heartily recommend you take a look at the work of the highly talented designers in the Zen Garden design list. I always considered myself to primarily be an interface designer rather than a graphic designer so it makes it even more rewarding to have a design accepted amongst what I consider to be much more talented folks.
